I think this City needs a group dedicated to contemporary, progressive fifty and over folks who are relevant and always ready to enjoy all that Chicago has to offer. Music, plays, parks, festivals, restaurants, community action,exploratory walks are just a few ideas. We are too young to stop experiencing life and too experienced to be shut out!

This is a group for those who would benefit from knowing others who are also serious about finishing their novel. The first few meet-ups will have a "Shut Up and Write" theme -- regularly scheduled 1-hour writing sessions at the coffee shop. Upwards from there. Why hasn't the first meetup happened yet?
